The Bulk Platform

The bulk is a company that aims to build a platform that connects suppliers and businesses within the food industry. We offer a website that is a marketplace (e-shop) built for every supplier and business to join.
That provides an easy way for suppliers to receive orders immediately, connect our website with their ERP/other systems and various time saving opportunities.
For the businesses we provide price comparison within the products they’re interested in based on their location, safety in the transactions made with the suppliers, various time saving factors.
The main problem we are solving is that through our platform suppliers and businesses spend considerably less time in order to complete their transactions and find their right business partners efficiently. We will develop an e-shop that has on-site transactions, that means that each supplier doesn’t have to build their own website and spend resources on it. At this moment every major supplier spends a lot of resources for sales-men in order to market their product, what we offer is a rating system and trust between the businesses and the suppliers without the need of physical communication and with proof from other businesses that the suppliers have good quality.
Our goals include helping suppliers with digitalizing data and connecting our platform to their IT business software such as ERP, CRM, SCM and BI/BA, we bring value to the businesses by providing them with the information necessary in order to make better decisions. Through this platform every small or large supplier can take advantage of their strengths because small suppliers have the opportunity to reach broader audiences and big suppliers have the opportunity to grow their business even larger.
For the businesses our platform provides the ideal environment to browse products offered personalized to them saving time and resources. With enough simplicity the ordering process will take less than 15 minutes per day, whereas today’s way of communication occurs way more often and includes a lot of human error. A major advantage for the businesses is the immediate price comparison between price and quality based on their location and the suppliers rating.
There are various functions we can develop in our platform that can provide big value for the businesses, such as developing a data aggregation site, this way small businesses from islands or remote locations can gather enough minimum ordering product from big suppliers and order it with better price. We will develop a clean business focused website that is intuitive and easy to use with a lot of functions but simple enough to interact with. There can be a favorites list for suppliers and easy recurring orders function that is easy to use in every day basis. If the businesses have the necessary IT systems, these functions can be automated with our contribution connecting our platform to their systems.
Our business is a B2B marketplace that does not require a big funding in order to get started, instead our strategy will be to grow as large as possible, connecting businesses all over countries.
