Sustainable Fashion

The purpose of Sustainable Fashion is to reduce the CO2 emissions from the textile industry. The main product of this business is creating a platform for fashion clothes swop with membership for girls and women. In addition, it will offer online shopping for second hand fashion items. Moreover, they will be a vintage program which will have both online swop and online shop. Another activity will be organizing fairs and parties for the membership for fashion swops, which may be seasonal or thematic. We will also organize support to the local textile recycling by establishing disposal points of extra clothes. I plan to engaged artists and artisans for recycling clothes by redesigning and offering them in my online shop. The products that will be offered to swop will be from all categories: wedding dresses, swimming costumes, sneakers, sports clothes, business and evening dresses, bags, accessories etc.
Also, I plan to organize different campaigns for raising the awareness for environmental protection. These campaigns will target those who would like to reduce the waste that comes from clothing which cannot be used anymore.
The need that this idea meets is to provide good fashionable clothing for girls and women in a economic way. In the same time ensuring environmental protection by reducing the CO2 emissions by fashion and textile industry. Also, this business idea will support women with low income and it will promote the gender issue, because this is pure women's entrepreneurs.
Sustainable Fashion will be a platform which will be present in the local market in Macedonia, in the region of the Balkan counties and to entire world. All the services will be offered in Macedonian language, in Balkan languages and in English. Members will be welcomed from all over the world. The shipment of the fashion items will be organized both locally, regionally and globally by using a specialized fast shipment company.
The main revenue generation mechanism will be membership fee which will be offered seasonally and annually. I will create different packages for the members which will offer different arrangements for swops and online shopping, each of them will be a combination of different services and discounts. They will be a part of the revenue which will come from fairs, parties and online shopping.
My experience is personal which comes from different ways of providing clothes and other fashion items. I also have experience in fashion industry and in online shopping. Moreover, my experience in working with customers in fashion is the most essential for this kind of business. I am also very good in budgeting and other financial issues. I am very passionate about fashion myself and I understand other girls and women who are similar to me.
The unique features of my business idea is that, women and girls who are interested in fashion can reach good clothing in a very short time for a low budget. They can also swop their used items with other women or girls and by participating in all the activities of Sustainable Fashion they can meet other people, make friends and feel like a club members.
