Re:Waste is a global app that will educate the users in an organized and detailed manner on how to to recycle any product and where to find recycling centers or where to get rid certain types of wastes that can not be recycled.
In particular it will have illustrated guides per product with detailed instructions on how to handle them organized by product categories.
It will be able to find all recyclling centers based on the user's location.
It will also mark areas of enviromental interest based on the user's location for example areas where reforestation efforts are.
Users can also submit requests for products to be added in the catalog.
It will also allow the users to submit ideas and guides on how to repurpose products/waste/garbage into something useful.
It's market will originally start from the various cities and towns of greece and gradually expand to add other countries.
The app targets people who are sensitive to enviromental issues as well as users who want information accesibly in an easy to understand and organized form.
The main form of revenue will be from advertisement.
The team is made of university students from a computer engineering department.
We believe this idea can succeed because there is a lack of an easy to understand and use all in one uprganized app like this.
