BAMBUPEDIA is a new way of re-living the Archipelago Bamboo Culture comprises of preservation, exploitation and development of a holistic bamboo ecosystem. Bamboo is preserved by means of collecting databases parallel to ‘digital planting’, while the plant material exploitation is conducted by making bamboo an asset token for digital cooperative purposes. Bamboo ecosystem is developed through a massive
re-branding of an environmentally friendly lifestyle starting from micro level to a larger scale.

6. Clean Water And Sanitation

Bamboo facilitates community access to clean water in two ways. First, the existence of bamboo plants will maximize the soil to hold its water, it will even emit springs after the bamboo clumps are fertile at a certain age. Areas that previously had minimal springs will turn into areas with an abundance of springs. Water is no longer a problem even for areas that were originally arid before the arrival of bamboo plants. Second, for areas that have not yet received water from their springs after several years of planting bamboo, the community can purify the water it holds from rain, rivers and so on using activated charcoal made from bamboo. Clean water remains cheap and can be self-filtered with materials produced from their own plants - namely bamboo.
