Over time dust, debris and soiling will build upon your solar panels, which may compromise the performance of your solar panel system up to 25%. Through regular, preventative maintenance we ensure that your solar panel system operates safely, correctly, efficiently and serves out its life. By collecting data like output power, we can intelligently identify issues before they arise. We use specialized chemicals, equipment, and techniques to clean all types of solar panels and surrounding equipment. As most know, solar panels generate electricity. Less known is the fact that they are not maintenance free. Solar panel systems require careful cleaning and regular inspections to perform well for decades. If neglected this can result in costly repairs or complete replacement of the entire system since panels themselves are very expensive pieces of equipment. The reason for this neglect is usually due to a lack of knowledge on how to properly clean them. For example, many people use highly corrosive or pressure washing chemicals which rapidly degrade the solar panel frame while leaving rust stains behind even if it appears clean afterwards. Some resort to powerwashing but do not realize that this will drive moisture under the edges of the glass laminate which quickly induces corrosion problems underneath others simply blast water at high pressure with any nozzle until it is "clean enough".
